Red Bull Air Race GmbH was founded in 2011 with the goal of creating and growing the new dimension of motorsport; the Red Bull Air Race World Championship. Red Bull GmbH is the parent company of Red Bull Air Race GmbH.

Red Bull Air Race GmbH is based in Salzburg, Austria, adjacent to the iconic Hangar 7. The company consists of 45 employees split into 6 core departments; Management, Aviation, Marketing, Commercial, Communication and Production.

The responsibility of the GmbH is to work closely with existing and potential host countries, global and local partners, media, local aviation authorities and key stakeholders in order to facilitate the growth of the Red Bull Air Race and the sport.
