WilsonOwensOwens (WOO) was created by Derek Wilson and Kevin Owens following their design lead role for London 2012. The role started with leading the Olympic Park masterplan, London2012’s bid venues and continued through to the completion of Games.
WOO brings collectively over 100 years of experience, the vast majority of which is in the world of event and sports architecture. They have had significant involvement 4 Olympic and Paralympic Games, 2 Commonwealth Games, 10 Super Bowls, 8 major event bids, 2 Olympic Stadia and 7 Premier League stadia. Numerous other stadia worldwide and 1 Hollywood Bowl, LA.
Kevin and Derek have received the RIBA Building of the Year (John Smith’s Stadium) and the RIBA Client for the Year (London 2012).
They are highly respected in the industry advising the Premier League, IOC and the UK Government’s Sports Ground Safety Authority.
