 The Host City Awards celebrate excellence in hosting, delivering, and promoting major sports, business, and cultural events around the world. Open to all organisations attending the Host City conference, the awards are a platform for recognising standout achievements in event management and innovation. To enter, organisations must submit an application explaining how their event, held between December 2022 and December 2024, meets specific criteria for excellence. Entrants are encouraged to include supporting materials like photos and videos to enhance their submission. Winners will be chosen by a distinguished panel of industry experts, with finalists invited to attend the Civic Reception and Award Ceremony.

The deadline for submitting an application has now passed. We look forward to sharing the shortlist.

Engaging the Audience

  • How significantly did the audience or fanbase of your event grow, and what strategies were most effective?
  • How did you successfully engage and reach a more diverse and inclusive audience?
  • What was innovative or creative about your approach to engaging audiences and enhancing the fan experience?
