Colin Smith

Colin is part of the FIFA senior management team. Prior to joining FIFA in 2015, Colin held senior positions at PGA European Tour, UEFA, and UAE Pro League Committee. Colin was also a Country Manager at Rothmans, based across Africa, in the early part of his career. Now leading FIFA’s Tournaments & Events division, Colin is responsible for delivering the wide range of tournaments and events across the globe, which have included the FIFA World Cup 2018™ as well as the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2019™ and The Best FIFA Football Awards™.  Moreover, Colin is Managing Director of FIFA’s joint venture for the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ and board member of the local FIFA subsidiaries established in Australia/New Zealand for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ and in North America for the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
