Georg Spazier

Georg Spazier is an international executive in sports events management and marketing with a broad experience in Sponsoring, Brand Management, Communications & Digital Media and destination development. He has successfully transferred the 2012 Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee Company into a knowledge Transfer Hub for the entire Region of Tirol.

The innsbruck-tirol sports is a private public company overlooking the acquisition and execution of international (multi-)sports events but is also dedicated to the development of youth sport initiatives such as the Tyrolean School Winter Games or the Freestyle days all in regards to the Olympic values.

After the youth Olympic Games in 2012, the International Childrens Games 2016 and Crankworx 2017/18 the ITS has just successfully staged the UCI Road World Championships in September of 2018 but unfortunately did not come through with the ambition to move forward with a candidacy for the bid process for possible Olympic Wintergames 2026.
