Stephen Ellison is Director for Energy, Infrastructure, Creative and Sports, Department of International Trade (DIT) in China.
A chartered civil engineer and Fellow of both the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Institution of Highways and Transportation, before joining the public sector he worked in international construction for more than 30 years in Asia, the Middle East and the Caribbean as well as the UK.
He has delivered major transportation projects that include Second Severn Crossing in UK, Malaysia-Singapore Second Crossing, Kuala Lumpur LRT and Qatar Expressways. He was China country manager for a leading UK engineering consultancy working in transportation, marine works and master planning.
