Yang Binyuan

Yang Binyuan has a progressive career of 25+ years in media, communications, and sports management. He was the first Chinese national to lead the Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD) and the Head of Broadcast of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Organising Committee and Secretary-General of the International Broadcast Centre (IBC) of Beijing Olympics. He was also Weber Shandwick’s project lead for Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics bid.

Mr. Yang was the co-founder of China’s first ever 24/7 News Radio while working in conjunction with Chinese national broadcaster in channel management and international cooperation. He also worked as a veteran sports broadcaster; he covered Atlanta, Sydney and Athens Olympic Games.
