Nellie Kim is Vice President of the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG) and Vice President of the Belarus Gymnastics Association.
She has been a FIG Executive Committee member and President of the Women’s Technical Committee since 2005.
She won three Gold medals and one Silver at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal and two Gold medals at the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow. She was the first to score perfect 10.00 on VT (vault) and FX (floor exercise) at the Olympics.
She won five Gold, four Silver and three Bronze medals in FIG World Championships and two Gold, three Silver and four Bronze medals in European Championships.
She has received multiple Olympic and civic honours.
She holds a PhD from the Lesgaft National State University of Physical Education, Sport and Health, St. Petersburg, Russia and a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Sport from the Academy of Social Sciences in Minsk, Belarus 1985.
